Best Resorts for Skiers Analysis Dashboard

About this project

This project provides a comprehensive dataset of approximately 500 ski resorts around the world, along with essential details such as their location, prices, slopes, lifts, and seasons. In addition, the dataset includes a complementary table of snow cover around the world for each month of 2022. This information is incredibly useful for skiers who are looking for their ideal skiing destination, as it allows them to compare and contrast different resorts based on a variety of features.

Features to help skiers find their ideal destination include factors such as location, prices, types of slopes, and lifts available, as well as the seasons in which the resorts are open. Other features that skiers may be interested in include the snow cover, which is especially important for planning a skiing trip, as well as the availability of other activities in the area.

Insights:

The dataset includes 499 ski resorts around the world, with each resort divided into different top nations. Austria has the highest number of slopes with 89, followed by France with 81 slopes, USA with 78 slopes, Switzerland with 59 slopes, and Italy with 44 slopes.

According to the dataset, Beaver Creek, located in the USA, is the most expensive resort with a price of 141 Euros. Breckenridge, also located in the USA, is the highest resort, with a peak altitude of 3914 meters. Le Massif, located in Canada, is the lowest resort, with an altitude of 36 meters.

Les 3 Vallees, located in France, is the best resort for snow cannons, with 2383 snow cannons available. It is also the best resort for beginners, with 312 beginner slopes. These insights are incredibly useful for skiers looking to plan their next skiing trip, as they provide a comprehensive overview of the different features and attributes of each resort.
